  SAN ANTONIO — A wind-fueled fire burning along the Rio Grande has forced the evacuation of more than a dozen homes south of Socorro. State Forestry Division spokesman Dan Ware says the San Pedro Fire has scorched more than 50 acres in the bosque and is "putting up a lot of smoke.''   A woman found dead in a west Rio Rancho arroyo on Saturday has been identified as 18-year-old Amber Turberville of Corrales, according to her father and Rio Rancho police.

Google Maps 'Street View' Feature Angers Some ABQ Homeowners

  Here's hoping that our spring cleaning is finished in Albuquerque, because the city is getting its portrait done by Google. The mammoth Web site is augmenting Google Maps with "Street View" -- photos showing 360-degree views of every block in mapped cities and surrounding communities.
