You Pay Millions For Secret Film Costs

  A production company for the motion picture "Wild Hogs" received $8.5 million from the state as partial reimbursement for what it spent in New Mexico to make the movie. The payment was the largest made from July 1, 2007, to March 16 of this year under a government program to attract filmmakers to New Mexico. Although taxpayers picked up that $8.5 million tab, they can't review the paperwork showing what expenses were claimed by the biker comedy.
