The governor is headed to Cape Cod for a vacation Tuesday. Richardson, who is traveling with his wife, will be out of the state until late next week, according to a news release from his office. The vacation will be interrupted Friday as Richardson heads to San Diego to receive the National Education Association award for “Education Governor of the Year”, according to the release.
