    The 2008 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships are winding down. It all started back in February. The last of the tournament's 63,000 bowlers will compete Sunday, July 6, inside the Albuquerque Convention Center.

      T he 2008 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships are winding down, with the last of the tournament's 63,000 bowlers competing Sunday. Since mid-February, 480 new bowlers have arrived at the doors of the Albuquerque Convention Center.
