      An Albuquerque man accused of entering his father's Rio Rancho home without permission and beating him with an axe handle has been indicted in state District Court.

    No violations had shown up previously, despite 10 convictions. Jason Daskalos has received 39 traffic citations in Bernalillo County, but none ever appeared on his state driving record.

    Slightly Cooler Temperatures Expected This Weekend

      High temperatures in New Mexico will be about 5 to 15 degrees above normal through Friday, the National Weather Service said. Showers and thunderstorms will move onto the eastern plains Wednesday, but most of this week's thunderstorms will stay near the mountains, forecasters said.
