      John McCain brought his Republican presidential campaign to the swing state of New Mexico today for the fifth time since May, but this trip focused less on what McCain could do for America and more on what Democrat Barack Obama hasn't and wouldn't do. In previous visits, McCain has touted his experience and his plans should he become president. But the candidate, on the eve of the next presidential debate in Nashville, Tenn., used much of today's rally to accuse his opponent of saying one thing but doing another.       Tom Udall so far has a big lead over Steve Pearce in the contest for the U.S. Senate seat that longtime Republican Sen. Pete Domenici will retire from after the end of the year, a Journal Poll found.
