    'Wings of Wind' Balloon Crash Kills One

      BERNALILLO — A hot air balloon today crashed into power lines and burst into flames, killing one of two men thrown from the basket and critically injuring the other, during Albuquerque's annual balloon fiesta.

    Domestic violence case dismissed because key witness unavailable. Domestic violence charges were dismissed Thursday against W. John Brennan, the former chief district judge in the Second Judicial District, because of the unavailability of "a necessary witness" â�" presumably, the alleged victim, Marsella Duarte.
