Measure Ends SF Funded Alcohol

  SANTA FE — The Santa Fe City Council is being asked to consider a resolution that would formally prohibit using city funds to purchase alcohol. The proposal follows recent questions raised by the Journal Santa Fe about whether the city spent at least $10,000 on alcohol for attendees of the multi-day Santa Fe International Conference on Creative Tourism.

Luminaria Tour To Start Downtown

  The annual Christmas Eve luminaria tour in Albuquerque has a new launching point this year: from Downtown. Tourgoers aboard ABQ RIDE buses will be departing from the Convention Center, where a festive waiting area in the center will be filled with costumed greeters, holiday decorations, Santa Claus and the Albuquerque Boys Choir.
