ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Following the success of last November’s AlbuquerqueFirst! Marketplace, the city of Albuquerque will host a second event May 16 from 1-5 p.m. at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
The city is looking for approximately 75 exhibitors to participate with the intent of making a purchase from other local business attendees.
The November event saw $50,000 of sales and contracts executed on the day of the event and nearly $100,000 of total sales in contracts executed afterward as a direct result of the event, organizers said in a news release.
The Marketplace is a reverse on-site vendor fair, meaning that the exhibitors are there to make purchases of goods and services from small-business attendees.
