ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police released the name of a woman killed Tuesday morning in a SE Albuquerque shooting, according to an Albuquerque Police Department spokesman.
Officer Simon Drobik said police are investigating the murder of 27-year-old Erica Espinosa on the 6400 block of Cochiti SE.
“Detectives are also seeking information about two vehicles seen in the area at the time of the shooting,” he said.
Drobik described the vehicles as a dark colored sedan, unknown make and model, and a white, or light, colored car–possibly a Chrysler.
Police were called to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital around 4 a.m. on Tuesday for a woman who had been shot, Espinosa died at the hospital.
Through further investigation, police found a scene, with numerous casings from different firearms, on the 6400 block of Cochiti Road SE.
