ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Prosperity Works, an Albuquerque non-profit, has received a $750,000.00 grant from The W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
The Kellogg funding will be used for “improving the economic security of vulnerable children and their families” through asset-building strategies, employer-based lending models, savings products and services, according to a news release from Prosperity Works.
“Financial inclusion and education are key to financial security, and we are excited to extend these opportunities to mare families with this funding,” said Ona Porter, Prosperity Works CEO.
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process.
Prosperity Works partners with local agencies throughout the state to offer effective financial products and services for working families.
