Sunday: Michael Hermosillo homered twice and drove in four runs as visiting Salt Lake rolled to an 8-1 victory over the Isotopes in front of an announced 9,283 fans.

The Bees roughed up rehabbing Colorado Rockies pitcher Tyler Anderson for four runs in one-plus innings. Salt Lake won three of four in the series to increase its lead over Albuquerque to 4½ games in the PCL’s Pacific Southern Division with eight remaining. The Isotopes have dropped nine of their last 12 games.

Ian Desmond homered to account for the Isotopes’ lone run Sunday. The Rockies rehabbing infielder played both shortstop and first base. Ryan Howard added a pinch-hit double.
