There is an ongoing situation on Thursday night in southwest Albuquerque, near Woodward and 2nd SW, according to a Bernalillo Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Deputy Felicia Maggard said the incident started as an alarm call around 9 p.m. at a closed business on Broadway SW.

“Two vehicles fled the scene,” she said. “Both vehicles have been stopped.”

Maggard did not provide anymore details.

A semi-truck could be seen off the road at Woodward and 2nd SW, while deputies and a canine searched the nearby woods with flashlights. Multiple deputy vehicles surrounded the truck and blocked the area.
