Colo. Pot-Theft Suspects Caught on Camera

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Authorities are asking the public’s help in identifying four suspects who broke into a medical marijuana-growing operation east of Durango last week, The Durango Herald reported.

Surveillance video images from inside the business were released by the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office and show four men who appear to be in their mid- to late teens going into the business and visiting the four rooms where the medical marijuana is cultivated, The Herald said.

Two of the suspects have their faces covered with hoodies and caps, but the faces of the other two men are clearly visible, and anyone with information is asked to call sheriff’s Investigator Kevin Brown at (970) 382-7054 or the sheriff’s office at (970) 247-1157.

The break-ins occurred shortly after 1 a.m. May 22 at a growing operation on La Plata County Road 222, southeast of Elmore’s Corner, The Herald said.
