Man killed in Los Lunas shooting involving deputies, police say

Valencia County deputies were in a shooting that left one man dead in Los Lunas midday Saturday, according to a post on the New Mexico State Police official Twitter page.

The statement said no deputies were injured in the shooting, which happened in El Cerro Mission.

The post did not give the exact time of the shooting or exact location. It also did not say  the man’s identity, how he was killed, if he was armed or what led to the shooting.
