New Mexico State to hold bowl victory celebration in Albuquerque

New Mexico State University will hold an Arizona Bowl victory party on Jan. 25 at Nativo Lodge, 6000 Pan American Freeway in Albuquerque, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Football coach Doug Martin, AD Mario Moccia and others are coming.

There will be food and a cash bar, and the 2018 season is likely to be a hot topic.

The Aggie football team defeated Utah State in the Arizona Bowl in overtime on Dec. 29 in Tucson, almost 57 years to the day after NMSU’s previous bowl appearance. New Mexico State finished the football season 7-6, its first winning campaign since 2002.
