SANTA FE — Rep. Candy Spence Ezzell is rolling around the Roundhouse this session with a little scooter.
She initially told me that she’d injured her leg in a bar fight.
I wasn’t sure whether to believe her. Then she confessed to falling off a ladder before the session, hurting her ankle.
Her sense of humor is certainly intact.
Ezzell’s office is in the Capitol North building, making it a long walk to reach the House floor, so the scooter — like any trusted steed — is helping her get around.
Hanging from the handle bars is her official state representative license plate.
