ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Jennifer Caven of Angel Fire is this year’s featured artist at the 51st Annual New Mexico Arts & Crafts Fair, which will be held at next weekend at Expo New Mexico. She will be showing drawings and paintings.
Every year the fair presents more than 220 established and emerging New Mexico artisans. It has been rated one of the top 200 art shows in the United States by Sunshine Artist Magazine. It attracts more than 15,000 people and generates more than $500,000 in art sales annually.
A big part of the show is promoting youth art. The Annual Youth Exhibit has grown to more than 1,000 entries from throughout New Mexico. Entrants range from preschool through high school.
