APD looking for man suspected of using fake bills at Apple store

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are looking for a man they believe used counterfeit bills to buy something at the Apple store in ABQ Uptown shopping center last month.

According to a flier sent out by Crime Stoppers, on Feb. 4 the man went to the store and used fake dollar bills. He is now being sought for fraud or forgery.

The surveillance video captured a clear look at his face.

The man is white, about 6 feet tall and approximately 145 pounds and can be seen wearing a dark sweater, jeans, black frame glasses and was carrying a dark colored back pack.

The male can be seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black frame prescription glasses and carrying a dark colored back pack. He is described as a white male, approximately 6′ tall and approximately 145 pounds.
