Fifteen young women were introduced to the community last weekend at the Señorita Ball of the Music Guild of New Mexico.
The ball, a 61-year-old tradition in Albuquerque, was held March 17 at Sandia Resort & Casino.
The Señorita Program is an educational, civic and social enrichment program for high school seniors. The program culminates with the Señorita Ball. Proceeds of the program benefit local music programs and education.
Young women who will be high school seniors can be recommended for the program by a Music Guild member during their junior year of high school or earlier. Go to musicguildofnewmexico.org for details.
