Robert T. Conley, PE, LEED AP, promoted to chief financial officer at Bridgers & Paxton Consulting Engineers. He joined the company in 1998 and was elected to the company’s board of directors in 2010 and will continue in his role as secretary of the board and principal mechanical engineer. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico.

Hildeberto Moreno has joined IHR Development as director of land development and sales. Dan Mayfield has joined Leverage Point Inc. as public affairs director. Mayfield has 20 years’ experience in the communications field. Mayfield most recently worked for Carroll Strategies as media director. He also previously worked as editor in chief at Albuquerque The Magazine; as an assistant editor at the Albuquerque Journal and the Albuquerque Tribune; and as a tech reporter for Albuquerque Business First.

Sandia National Laboratories researchers Carlos Gutierrez, Alex Talin and Thomas Mattsson have been elected Fellows of the American Physical Society.
Talin was honored for the discovery of new electronic transport phenomena, materials and devices.
Gutierrez was honored for increasing understanding of magnetic thin-film physics and developing innovative education programs in materials physics.
Mattsson was honored for contributions to the fundamental understanding of condensed matter at extreme temperatures and pressures though molecular dynamics and electronic structure simulations.
Engineering News-Record (ENR) Southwest has named Emily Allen and Hannah Feil Greenhood to the Top 20 Under 40 list, which includes individuals from the architecture, engineering and construction communities.
Allen is a principal of the interior design group at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini. She has 14 years’ experience in the field and is the youngest professional to be made a principal in the firm’s 55-year history.
Feil Greenhood is an associate/architect specializing in multifamily housing, commercial and mixed-use projects at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini.
