HB acquires San Antonio contractor

HB Construction of Albuquerque announced Monday it had acquired San Antonio-based Reid & Associates.

The acquisition expands HB Construction’s reach geographically, according to a news release from the company. In addition to the new San Antonio location, HB Construction has offices in Las Cruces, Denver, Hobbs, Albuquerque, El Paso and Lubbock.

Reid & Associates’ John Bonney will oversee the new HB Construction Central Texas office.

HB, specializing in education, healthcare, office, multifamily and federal construction, is forecasting 2018 revenue in excess of $200 million, according to the news release.

The announcement did not disclose the terms of the deal.

Among HB’s clients are Lovelace Heath System), Moore County Hospital, El Paso Independent School District, El Paso Community College, University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, Culberson County-Allamoore Independent School District, Texas Army National Guard, Lackland Air Force Base, Los Alamos National Laboratories, Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind, Pueblo Community College and Southwest Capital Bank.

Among Reid & Associates’ clients and projects are Purvis Industries, Titan Development, Southwest Steel Coil, Canadian General Tower, √Član Corpus Christi, and √Član Southpark Meadows.
