A man is dead after being hit by a car in northeast Albuquerque on Thursday night, according to a police spokesman.
Officer Daren DeAguero said the crash happened at the intersection of San Mateo and McLeod NE, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He said the intersection is closed while police investigate.
DeAguero did not say what led to the crash.
