Our Community featured a gallery of photos from the Annual Armed Forces Banquet, presented by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce on June 23. The event celebrated World War II and Korean War veterans with emcees Terri Cole, president and CEO of the chamber, and Col. John C. Kubinec, Kirtland Air Force Base Wing Commander.
The event featured keynote speaker Lt. Col. Jesse Casaus, USAF (RET), a WWII and Korean War veteran himself, and also a member of the Air Force Escape and Evasion Society. You’ll find photos at abqjournal.com/community.
