About 80 volunteers, most from Dreamstyle Remodeling and the University of New Mexico athletics department, but also a few local media members, gathered Wednesday morning at the locally-owned business to put together 128 Cheeriodicals gift boxes from that were later delivered to kids at the UNM Children’s Hospital by Dreamstyle and UNM employees, including Lobo basketball coach Paul Weir and baseball coach Ray Birmingham.
I was lucky enough to have been asked to help, and thank Larry Chavez and the Dreamstyle crew for letting me be a part of the day.
Here are some tweets with photos from throughout the day — both the morning packaging of the gift boxes and from the afternoon delivery.

Putting together gift boxes for UNM Childrens Hospital with @cheeriodicals at @DreamRemodeling. Our group, including @UNMLoboSwimDive and @UNMLoboWSoccer @HeatherDyche @KRQEMark and others was easily the best. Finished in time for Mark to pose with his fans! pic.twitter.com/UqgLhWy4ow
