Sandia Resort & Casino giving away two Cadillacs

Spend your summer driving in style with a new Cadillac CTS from Sandia Resort & Casino.

Sandia is giving you a chance to get behind the wheel of this top-notch luxury car during its “Cruise Into a Cadillac” promotion this June.

Preliminary drawings will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 9, and 23 for a chance to win cash and free play. Grand prize car drawings will be held on June 16 and 30. A Cadillac CTS will be given away each of those days.

Get your share of $777 worth of free play every seven minutes, for seven hours, from 5 p.m. to midnight on June 8 and 22. Guests must be actively playing with their Peaks Rewards card to be eligible for the promotion.

Celebrate Father’s Day on June 17 in the bingo room. All men will receive one free level 3 paper paying $1,000 during the matinee and evening sessions. There will be two drawings during each session. Winners will receive a drill set and two “Pharaohs” packages. Sandia is giving bingo players a chance to escape to paradise during its “Sea, Sand & Surf” promotion. Collect drawing tickets now through June 30 for a chance to win a trip to Fiji. The drawing will be held during the evening bingo session on June 30.

There are some hot promotions for poker players this June, including the “Sizzling Summer High Hand Bonus” from 8 a.m. Sunday, June 3, through 8 a.m. June 10, and again from 8 a.m. June 17 to 8 a.m. June 24. There will be a new board each week. Players will get their chance to win $100, $150, or $300 in cash.

Fans of Prince will not want to miss Morris Day & The Time at 8 p.m. Saturday in Sandia’s Grand Ballroom. The group is best-known for its songs “Jungle Love” and “The Bird,” featured in the 1984 film “Purple Rain,” starring Prince & The Revolution. Although Day played Prince’s nemesis in the film, the two remained close friends until Prince’s death in 2016. Morris Day & The Time also made an appearance in Kevin Smith’s film “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.” Last year, Day collaborated with rapper Snoop Dogg on the song “One Night Stand.” Tickets for the show are $40-$75, plus fees.

On June 24, country legends The Charlie Daniels Band takes the Grand Ballroom stage. Daniels has received many accolades, including being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016. He penned “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” one of the most famous country songs of all time. Tickets for the show are $35-$45, plus fees.
