The stars of “Creed II” are feeling at home in Deming.
On Wednesday, owners of The Adobe Deli posted photos of both Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan in the restaurant.
“Always a fantastic to have visits from all walks of life. Jordan and Stallone, wonderful conversation. The entire crew was a pleasure to have here with us at the Adobe Deli,” the post said.
The Adobe Deli is a steakhouse and saloon, according to its website. The post already had more than 100 shares and 300 likes.
According to the New Mexico Film Office, “Creed II,” is filming scenes in Deming this month.
“Creed II” is the continuation of the Rocky saga and sequel to the 2015 hit “Creed.” The film earned $109 million domestically.
Stallone will reprise his role as Balboa and Michael B. Jordan will reprise his role of Adonis Creed.
In the film, life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life.
According to the film office, the production will employ 75 crew members and about 46 New Mexico background talent.
