APPALLING TO READ that UNM won a national championship for stolen autos. Currently, the UNM football program is ranked 118 in the country. Hoping UNM President Garnett Stokes and football coach Bob Davie can come up with some solutions to reverse those numbers.

THE UNM FOUNDATION is above the law like politicians in New Mexico and President Trump!

HOPEFULLY NO SPORTS at UNM will be dropped until the new administration takes time to get a good grasp of the situation. However, if there are cuts to be made, it’s been stated that the sports that are cut will continue to participate for another year. Wrong. The athletes and coaches will have no incentive to represent UNM. The sports should be immediately dropped with all scholarships and coaches’ salaries honored for the upcoming year. No need to make a bad situation worse.

IT’S DIFFICULT TO keep up with all of the audits and investigations by UNM, the State of New Mexico Auditor’s Office and Attorney General’s Office regarding UNM athletics. I believe that the only one left is the AG’s investigation. Hopefully that one will come to a rapid conclusion so the community can get something positive going as we head toward the upcoming 2018-19 season and UNM athletics can get out of the wheel spinning heap of mud in which they are stuck.
