UNM Lobo star runner Alice Wright signs pro deal

Former University of New Mexico track & field standout Alice Wright has signed a professional contract with HOKA ONE ONE and will be a member of the Northern Arizona Elite based out of Flagstaff, UNM announced on Wednesday.

Wright, from Worcester, England, won two NCAA team titles in cross country in her UNM career and becoming the only woman in NCAA history to earn four-straight All-American honors in the 10,000-meter run.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be joining Northern Arizona Elite and to become a member of the HOKA ONE ONE family,” Wright said. “I’ve been so inspired watching the success of the team thus far and am excited to train with, and learn from, such a talented group of men and women.”
