ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The fourth annual Stephen E. Benavidez Golf Tournament is set for Aug. 3 at Sandia Golf Club.
The Stephen E. Benavidez Scholarship is for energy engineers. Last year, the tournament featured 102 players and four scholarships were handed out.
The organization’s goal this year is to have 144 players. Those interested can sign up online at www.nmaee.org or www.nmaee.wildapricot.org, or call (505) 401-4326.
The event begins at 8 a.m. The price is $125, which includes bucket of balls, card, swag bag and one raffle ticket.
