ABQ Ride SunVan involved in crash on Bridge and La Vega

An ABQ Ride SunVan was involved in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning and rolled over near Bridge and La Vega SW.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the crash. A BCSO spokesman did not respond to questions about what happened, but Rick DeReyes, an ABQ Ride spokesman, said the bus, which transports people with disabilities, had been carrying one woman at the time. He said both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries.

He said it’s unclear right now if the bus is totaled but “it’s not in good shape, I’ll tell you that.”

Eastbound lanes were blocked for hours while deputies investigated.
