The University of New Mexico men’s soccer team dropped its second consecutive match, and first on the road, Friday night in a 1-0 loss to CSU-Northridge.
The Matadors (2-1) got on the board in the 72 minute off as Samuel Dadzie scored in the box off a throw in from Jumoke Hutton. It was Dadzie’s first goal of the season.
UNM (1-2) had nine shots on goal to just three by CSUN in front of an announce crowd of 438.
The Lobos women’s team faced a similar fate, losing 1-0 on the road to UC-Davis.
UNM (2-2) outshot UC-Davis 11-8, but UCD’s Mahia Catline found the back of the net off an Olivia Jones pass with three minutes left in the for the lone goal. UCD improves to 3-2.
