A new date has been set for the Def Leppard and Journey show in Albuquerque.

According to Live Nation, “the concert was cancelled for safety of the fans and performers due to high winds.”

Halfway through Journey’s set on Sept. 5, officials postponed the show.

Stage crews worked diligently to safely bring down monitors, lights and speakers, which were banging into each other due to the wind.

A new date has bee rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Isleta Amphitheater.

Tickets for the original show on Sept. 5 will be honored on the new date. Bring the original ticket on Sept. 18 for entry, according to Live Nation.

“Anyone unable to make the rescheduled date, should contact their point of purchase for a refund,” the statement said. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
