ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man died after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night at a northwest Albuquerque intersection, according to police.

Albuquerque police spokesman Simon Drobik said the crash occurred at Montano and Coors NW, and the man died at the scene.

He said initial investigation found the man was jaywalking across Coors but the intersection is closed while police investigate.

Several police vehicles shut off all traffic leading to the intersection and paramedics could be seen standing a sheet a few feet from a silver car with its hazard lights on.
