ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America has established a community service award to honor Jennifer Riordan, a well-known Albuquerque banking executive who was killed last spring during a midair accident aboard a Southwest Airlines plane.
The award will honor a communications professional who “voluntarily uses public relations skills in an exemplary way to not only give back to the community but also help make Albuquerque a better place to live,” according to a news release from the organization. The nominee does not have to be a member.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday. Send to chapter President Beth Velasquez at email@example.com.
