The New Mexico State Bar Association is offering a free clinic on intellectual property to inventors, artists and other creative professionals on Nov. 10.
The clinic will offer free 30-minute consultations with an attorney on topics such as patenting an invention, protecting brands and trademarks, protecting creative works and software code, selling art and forming a business.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UNM School of Law, 1117 Stanford Drive NE.
Consultation appointments can be scheduled by registering on line here.
The clinic is being organized by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Bar Association.
