ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — WideOpenWest Inc. (WOW) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $30.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had profit of 37 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 40 cents per share.
The cable TV company posted revenue of $291.6 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $292.2 million.
WideOpenWest shares have declined 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $10.36, a decline of 15 percent in the last 12 months.
