Police say that a woman was found dead in the street near Central and Romero Saturday morning.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being investigated and several witnesses are being interviewed and are cooperating with police,” officer Tanner Tixier said.
Eastbound Central starting at Rio Grande is closed for the investigation.
Tixier did not say how the woman died, or if police were investigating the death as a homicide.
