Police investigating 2 incidents at apartments

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police are investigating two incidents that occurred Sunday night at Siegel Suites Albuquerque, an apartment complex in northeast Albuquerque.

A woman is at UNMH with life-threatening injuries and a violent crimes call has been initiated.
Officers reported to an aggravated battery call at 1:44 p.m. on Sunday and found an unresponsive woman who appeared to have been beaten, according to APD spokesman Simon Drobik.

And in front of Siegel Suites, a pedestrian was found with life-threatening injuries and later died. Police believe the person was hit by a car.

The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating both incidents separately.
