NM United to play Saturday friendly against Denver University

New Mexico United, the first-year team in the United Soccer League, gets to play somebody else Saturday.

United and the University of Denver square off at noon at the University of New Mexico Soccer Complex.

Tickets are $10 for adults for general admission. Kids and students with a valid ID will be admitted free.

United as announced 15 player signees in the run-up to the March 9 USL season opener. Earlier this week, former UNM Lobo Chris Wehan came on board.

Other United players with local connections are Albuquerque products Justin Schmidt and Devon Sandoval and Las Cruces native Josh Suggs.
