Four city outdoor pools open early for the summer

The city of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department announced that four outdoor pools are opening early for the season.

“We’re kicking off summer a little early this year by opening some of our city pools over the next couple of weeks,” Mayor Tim Keller said. “Keeping kids safe by making sure they have access to fun and engaging activities is one of our top priorities this summer. We hope Albuquerque families take advantage of this opportunity and all of the city’s youth programs this summer”

All of the city’s outdoor pools will open for regular summer hours beginning May 25. Visit cabq.gov/aquatics for more information on pool locations and hours and to print a complete schedule of summer youth programs at city pools.
