Vs. Reno

6:35 p.m., Isotopes Park,

610 AM/95.9 FM

Promotion: MMA night, Orbit MMA bobbleheads

Probables: Aces LHP Alex Young (2-1, 6.48) vs. Isotopes RHP Tim Melville (2-1, 3.43)

Thursday: Albuquerque hit a franchise record-tying four triples, and eight of the Isotopes’ 11 hits went for extra bases as they snapped a five-game home losing streak with a 7-5 victory over Reno before an announced crowd of 3,768 at Isotopes Park.

Elliot Soto had two of those eight extra-base hits, with a triple and a double.

Pat Dean pitched 5⅓ innings to earn the victory for Albuquerque. It was his first victory of the season. He was backed up Thursday by consistent and occasionally superb defense.

Reno hit three home runs in the loss, including No. 17 of the season by Yasmany Tomas.

This and that: Colorado LHP Chris Rusin is on a rehab assignment with the Isotopes.
