ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Firefighters fought a fire at a recycling plant in northwest Albuquerque Tuesday afternoon, according to Albuquerque Fire Rescue.
Officials say the blaze broke out in the building, near Comanche and Griegos, around 7:20 p.m.
Several police and fire vehicles blocked Edith north of Griegos as thick smoke wafted throughout the area. A fireman on a ladder could be seen spraying water onto the building.
