Kevaughn Frater, who has scored four goals during New Mexico United’s remarkable run in the U.S. Open Cup, will miss the team’s quarterfinal match at Minnesota on July 10 due to yellows.
Frater, who leads the USL Championship with 11 goals, picked up his third yellow card of the tournament during Thursday’s win over Dallas that will cause him to be out against Minnesota United FC, one of six MLS teams remaining in the U.S. Open Cup.
New Mexico United, with the help of First Financial Credit Union, will be chartering a plane for fans for the Open Cup quarterfinal featuring a ticket at $249 (before tax).
The price includes a limited-edition t-shirt, transportation to the match, admission into the game and a swag bag.
Tickets will go live on Tuesday at noon with a link being pushed across New Mexico United social media platforms. Ticket sales will be limited to two per person, and fans must be 18 or over to purchase.
