ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews brought a woman who had sustained minor injuries at the top of the Piedra Lisa trail to safety Monday night.
Lt. Tim Smith, an AFR spokesman, said about 8:30 p.m. crews were called to rescue a 20-year-old woman who was injured on the trail.
“Fire crews did an amazing job of getting this patient packaged and in the basket and down the trail before dark,” Smith wrote in an email.
He said she was taken to the hospital.
Smith did not identify the woman or say how she had injured herself.
