Swinging for cash: Sandia Resort & Casino offers ‘$250,000 Batting for Bucks’ promotion

Give it your best swing for some cold, hard cash this July at Sandia Resort & Casino.

Guests can win big during the “$250,000 Batting for Bucks” promotion on Fridays and Saturdays this month. Drawings will be held every hour between 6:30 and 9:30 tonight, Saturday, July 20, July 26 and 27. Four names will be drawn during each drawing time. One winner will play to win up to $250,000 cash.

Patrons will earn a drawing ticket when they accrue 10 base points playing their favorite slot machines or table games. Swipe your Peak Rewards club card at any promotional kiosk to activate your drawing tickets on the drawing days.

Every Thursday in July, guests who earn 150 slot base points will receive a Coke item and a 12-pack of Coke. Peak and Pinnacle level cardholders will receive each week’s items for free. Swipe your Peak Rewards card at any promotional kiosk for your voucher and redeem it at the Players Club. Members receive only one offer a week, whether it is earned or free.

Head down to the bingo room for a chance to win a Disney cruise valued at $5,0000. The “Sail the Magic Sea Disney Cruise” promotion will be held during the evening session on July 27. Players can start collecting their cards now through the promotion date. Some lucky bingo players will win a Weber grill or cash prizes up to $1,000 during the “Grilling Summer” promotion every Sunday in July in the bingo room. Get a bang for your buck during “Thursdays Dollar Day” promotion. All paper specials are $1 each Thursday this month. Visit the bingo room for more information.

Poker players can be part of Four Corners Qualifier Tournaments at 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from July 29 through Aug. 28. There is a $60 buy-in and a $10 entry fee. Players will get the opportunity to win their entry into the Four Corners Championship on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. One seat will be awarded for every 10 players.

Patrons can also roll their way to the championship or earn free play during the “Four Corners Free Roll Drawings” on Aug. 3, 10, 17 and 24. Free roll drawing times will be every two hours between 4:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Slot free play drawings will be held every two hours from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Guests can win a free roll to the Four Corners Championship or $300 in slot free play. Players can earn one additional drawing ticket with every 10 hours of play now through July 28. Drawing tickets can be printed at any promotional kiosk starting Aug. 1. Only one free roll seat can be won per player during the promotion. Four Corners free roll tickets are nontransferable. It is the players’ responsibility to make sure that they are clocked in. Things are going to get muy caliente during Pitbull’s show on its rescheduled date, July 28. Kick up your heels to lively harmonies of country duo Sugarland on Aug. 2. Rock out to the Steve Miller Band with special guests Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives on Aug. 11. Sandia recently added a show on Sept. 6 featuring the Mavericks, who combine country, Tex-Mex, rockabilly and more into their music. Los Lobos, which also intertwines a number of genres into its music, including rock, zydeco, R&B, blues, cumbia and boleros, will open the show. Classic rocker Peter Frampton’s final tour makes a stop at Sandia on Sept. 24 and will feature special guest Jason Bonham. Don’t miss country superstars Rascal Flatts on Oct. 4.
