APD spokesman Gilbert Gallegos identified the people killed as Roy Caton, 89, and Daniel Sais, 34. Both were found dead in separate parts of town. There are no suspects in custody. Gallegos did not say how either man died.

Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Harvard SE, near Silver, last Wednesday after a friend found Caton in the kitchen with “apparent head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman called police Friday around 6:30 p.m. after she found Sais covered in blood inside her northeast Albuquerque apartment. He also died at the scene.
