ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Police Department is looking for a man in connection to a shooting early Saturday morning that left a man clinging to life.

Crime Stoppers sent out a release Wednesday asking for the public’s help in finding Freddy Eleocadio.

According to the release Eleocadio is a ‘person of interest’ in a shooting at a house party in the 1900 block of Broadway SE, near Gibson.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 5 a.m. but initial 911 calls “were conflicting” as some reported a crash and others reported a shooting without an exact address.

Police say the victim was taken to a hospital by several people after the shooting and is not expected to survive his injuries.
