ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s a form of art that been around for centuries and continues to grow.
The 11th annual Santero Market will take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, and 12:30-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, around San Felipe de Neri Parish in Old Town. More than 40 artists from around New Mexico will have art for sale.
There also will be live entertainment on both days in the plaza gazebo. From 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, santero Adan Carriaga will give a free lecture at the church.
