University of New Mexico football coach Bob Davie is expected to address the media Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., his first public remarks since he collapsed and was hospitalized after the Aug. 31 home game against Sam Houston State at Dreamstyle Stadium.
The Journal will carry a live stream of his media conference.
Davie, nor UNM, have said specifically what happened to the coach, other than it was a “serious medical incident.“
The Lobos play against No. 8 Notre Dame on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. Davie, Who used to coach the fighting Irish, has said he will not travel to this weeks game. The team will instead be coached by interim head coach Saga Tuitele.
